WHO WE ARE

The Evergreens Foundation is a not-for-profit housing management body proudly supporting independent housing in Alberta. We aim to facilitate quality of life for all of our residents, through our senior and social housing facilities located in Hinton, Jasper, Edson, Grade Cache, and Evansburg.

This position will be casual and based at our beautiful Alpine Summit Seniors Lodge in Jasper.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a kind and patient casual Bus Driver who is looking to make a difference in the community while working with a passionate and talented team. You will be providing safe transportation for our residents and members of the community to local and out-of-town programs and activities and will be responsible for reporting necessary repairs, cleaning the vehicle, and assuring sufficient fueling to meet transportation needs.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR/QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to effectively prioritize and manage conflicting demands.
Ability to work individually as well as part of a team.
Possess strong attention to detail and a desire to work effectively.
Have an empathetic personality.
Experience in senior housing and/or the hospitality industry would be an asset.
The successful candidate must have a Class 4 Alberta Driver's License, current Driver's Abstract, and clear Vulnerable Sector Check.

Hourly rate will be as per The International Union of Operating Engineers, Local Union No. 955.
