Job Details:

Duties, tasks and responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook full course meals and individual dishes with modifications as requested

- Responsible for smooth delivery of meals to dining guests, keeping food quality and consistency in line with Alberta Food Safety and Becker’s Gourmet Restaurant standards.

- Maintain quality and speed of output

- Prepares each item on menus according to recipes and instruction

- Follow proper safety, hygiene and sanitation practices

- Communicate clearly with co-workers and leadership team to ensure a smooth food service operation is achieved

- Adherence to cost control guidelines

- Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

- 1-3 years of experience in restaurant kitchen is required

- Previous experience in high volume fine dining kitchen an asset

- Able to adapt to early morning shift start times

- Multi-tasked assignments and work effectively as a team member as well as by themselves

- Work well under pressure and challenging situations

- Maintaining high standards of productivity and efficiency in the kitchen

- Punctual

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use stairs; stools; lift a max. Of 50lbs; able to with stand hot temperatures.
