Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care for children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of children while engaging them in educational and fun activities. This role requires a strong commitment to caregiving and the ability to adapt to the unique needs of each child.

Responsibilities

Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
Assist with homework and educational tasks, fostering a love for learning.
Prepare meals and snacks, ensuring dietary needs are met.
Maintain a clean and organized environment for the children.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns.
Provide support for children with disabilities, adapting activities as needed.
Manage daily routines, including nap times, playtimes, and outings.
Skills

Proven experience in caregiving, particularly with children.
Ability to work effectively with children who have disabilities or special needs.
Strong understanding of child development principles and educational practices.
Excellent communication skills to interact with both children and parents.
Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude towards nurturing children's growth.
Ability to educate through play while maintaining a structured environment.

The right individual would preferably live in Jasper already. We do have our child in daycare Monday-Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. These hours wouldnt be required. We both work for CN so our schedules are always changing so looking for someone who is okay with that flexibility.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
