Full job description
Mortgage Associate – Prairie West Mortgage Group Inc. Alberta, Canada

At Prairie West Mortgage Group, we believe that securing a mortgage is more than just a transaction—it’s a journey, and one that should be smooth, informed, and tailored to each client’s needs. That’s why we’re looking for a Mortgage Agent/Broker who is passionate about guiding people through one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives.

In this role, your days will be filled with meaningful conversations. Whether you’re meeting with first-time homebuyers, helping a family refinance for a fresh start, or working with an investor on their next property, your expertise and support will make all the difference. A large part of your day will be dedicated to building relationships—not just with clients, but with the trusted network that fuels your business. Realtors, builders, financial advisors, and community connections will become key partners, and nurturing these relationships will be essential in generating referrals and growing your client base.

Success in this role comes from being an active presence in your community. Attending networking events, connecting with real estate professionals, and becoming a go-to mortgage expert for those seeking guidance will be an ongoing part of your work. Every conversation is an opportunity to provide value, whether you’re offering mortgage insights over coffee with a realtor, presenting financing options to a builder’s clients, or following up with a past client to check in on their financial goals.

Each day, you’ll take the time to understand your clients’ unique financial situations, educating them on their options and walking them through the mortgage process with clarity and confidence. The goal is not just to secure financing but to ensure every client feels empowered in their decision. As the industry evolves, you’ll stay informed on market trends, new mortgage products, and regulatory updates, ensuring that your advice is always up to date and valuable.

Working with Prairie West Mortgage Group means you’ll have the independence to manage your business while benefiting from an amazing Alberta based brand and a supportive, collaborative company. Our team values work-life balance, professional growth, and integrity, creating an environment where both you and your clients can thrive. With access to leading resources and the backing of Indi Mortgage, you’ll have everything you need to build a successful career or grow an existing one, in the mortgage industry.

If you are driven, people-oriented, and eager to help clients navigate their home financing journey while actively developing the professional relationships that drive success, we’d love to hear from you. Send your resume and cover letter to dgerling@pwmortgage.ca and let’s start the conversation.
