The Relais & Chateaux Post Hotel & Spa is hiring for a Meeting and Events Planner. Situated in the village of Lake Louise on the banks of the Pipestone River, the historic Post Hotel & Spa has been welcoming guests for over 80 years. Position Overview:

The Meetings and Events Planner at Post Hotel & Spa promotes The Post as a luxury meeting and event destination and to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction for all conferences, weddings, and special events. This role serves as the primary point of contact for group events and weddings and oversees flawless delivery of hotel events and functions while maintaining the highest standards of service.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Consult with clients to define event requirements and budgets, ensuring alignment with the Post Hotel's luxury standards

· Develop creative menus in collaboration with our award-winning culinary team, including wine pairings from our extensive wine cellar

· Design detailed event orders (BEO) and distribute weekly function schedules

· Coordinate venue arrangements, fine dining experiences, premium rentals, and staffing before/during events

· Manage on-site execution and resolve any last-minute changes with utmost professionalism

· Ensure events exceed quality standards and client expectations, maintaining the Post Hotel's reputation for excellence

· Prepare detailed post-event billing and collect client feedback

· Maintain meticulous records for all clients and functions

· Respond to sales inquiries and conduct personalized hotel site inspections

· Work closely with the Calgary Sales Office for all contracted groups and bookings

· Assist with setup and teardown of luxury weddings and conferences when needed

· Perform other assigned duties as required

Qualifications

· 1-2 years of luxury hotel or high-end event planning experience

· Exceptional customer service orientation with attention to detail

· Strong project coordination abilities and organizational skills

· Budget management knowledge for luxury events

· Diploma in Hotel/Event Management (asset)

· Experience with fine dining and wine service (asset)

· Must have a flexible schedule to work evenings when needed

· Physical demands include sitting, standing, bending, and lifting (up to 30 lbs.)

· Strong understanding of luxury hospitality standards

· Knowledge of the Relais & Châteaux brand standards is an asset
