Description:

Otto's Cache is Jaspers first locally owned café, bakery and curated provisions market. Serving inspiration from Australian specialty cafe culture, European style bakeries, mixed with Italian inspired sandwiches made possible by local Canadian suppliers. Serving an expertise and craftsmanship of a new era of Jasper hospitality offerings. Spring 2025, Otto's Cache will open its doors to Jasper National Park. The cafes focus will be on both dine in and take-away offerings. Serving specialty coffee, fresh baked goods, sandwiches, salads and market provisions.


We’re looking for a Barista to join the team, brewing delicious coffee with a focus on serving quality specialty coffee to Jasper while delivering a fun and engaging customer experience.

We need you to:

A passion for specialty coffee and customer service
1+ year experience in a barista role, ideally brewing specialty coffee
Barista skills and knowledge (basic latte art, dialling in, trouble-shooting etc.)
A strong work ethic with a customer focused attitude
A positive, friendly and professional demeanour
An excitement and ability to engage with staff and customers about our coffee, menu and brand
The ability to work in a fast-paced cafe environment
The ability to multi-task, prioritise and communication
Willingness to learn and develop your skills as a barista
Maintaining high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety in the cafe
