The Group & Event Coordinator for INNHotels will be responsible for all aspects of the hotel’s group, tour, and event coordination as well as providing exceptional guest service and customer relationship management to maximize revenues, attract new business and maintain established connections.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all tour group, FIT and individual group contracts. Ensure group blocks are held in WebRezPro; review group needs and special requests, etc
Set up and maintain all group reservations and billing from contract signing through group departure.
Monitor upcoming contract groups to ensure rooming lists, billing information and any changes are received by due dates.
Set up all group routing and special billing instructions; review final group bills to ensure accuracy; make necessary changes in order to provide correct final bill.
Provide group forecasts to other departments on a regular basis.
Directly assist other departments when needed for function set up.
Coordinate set-up and catering for banquet and conference bookings
Liaise with function contact regarding numbers and changes.
Communicate with other departments regarding functions.
Attend travel trade shows, to meet with current and new clients, to promote Jasper Inn & Suites, to ensure new and repeat business.
Adhere to all environmental policies and programs as required.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

2-5 years’ previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality or resort/hotel industry
Previous leadership experience in hotel operations
Must possess excellent customer service skills
Must be computer literate. Preferred candidate will have previous experience with PMS system AND Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and set priorities
Detail-oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Must be extremely responsible with integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
