Assessment accommodation

Coordinates and delivers realty program services; provides technical advice, guidance and recommendations to management; provides functional guidance to realty officers.

Work environment
Parks Canada is a federal government agency responsible for the protection and presentation of Canada’s outstanding natural and cultural resources through a system of national parks, national marine conservation areas and national historic sites in all regions of Canada.

Intent of the process
This position will be used to fill an 18-month vacancy on a term, acting, or assignment basis.

This process may be used to create a list of qualified candidates to staff similar positions with various tenures, security levels or linguistic requirements in the same or other parts of the country.

EDUCATION:
University degree preferred however a combination of education and experience will be considered. (Proof of education to be included with application. Note: Priority may be given to candidates with post-secondary education in a field related to the position.)

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE IN:
Providing advice and technical support to managers, stakeholders and/or the public.
Preparing internal reports such as background or issue papers for management decision or information.
Administering agreements or contracts.
Researching and analyzing legislation, policies, and authorities.
If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)
ASSET EXPERIENCE:
Experience in administering of lands and legal documents related to lands.

Knowledge of legal terminology and instruments such as: lease and license administration practices, land/property surveys, appraisal and assessment methods, title searches, land registration and real estate transactions.

Analyze, interpret and make recommendations on land use, business or residential development proposals;
Prepare concise, accurate briefing materials and realty instruments;
