Overview

Working in coordination with other departments and outside agencies to ensure safety of guests, staff, and visitors within Pursuit’s Columbia Icefield operations

Responsibilities

For the 2022 summer season at the Columbia Icefield, team members will enjoy;

Qualifications
Act as the designated responder on site to any and all emergencies
Conducting regular patrols of property and conducting safety/fire inspections, ensuring follow up as required
Conduct investigations regarding thefts, disturbances, and complete daily reports for management
Participate in fire training sessions as a member of the first response team, and liaise with local emergency services as required
As an active participant in the workplace health and safety committee, you will work to follow up on identified items and drive safety throughout the operations
Provide first aid assistance to staff and guests that are injured at or near our operations as well as oversee the first aid program/equipment at the facilities
Act as the prime investigator/report writer for guest and staff injuries and undertake any necessary follow up
