SunDog Tour Co is looking for talented, motivated individuals who want to enjoy an excellent work life balance in Jasper, Alberta. With the mountains out your back door, there are plenty of amazing summer activities to experience. We are seeking adventurous souls who want to thrive in a new environment.

We offer competitive wages, fully-furnished accommodation, and transportation from the airport to assist you with your move. Our work schedule is 4 days on, 3 days off to allow for plenty of time to explore the National Park.

SunDog Transportation and Tours is proud to be a member of the Jasper community and has been servicing the Canadian Rockies and beyond with excellent customer service and family friendly vibes for over 20 years. We will be hiring a number of full time and part time roles within the organization. All successful candidates will receive comprehensive training and ongoing support.

Sightseeing Driver/Guide

The Role

The role requires working directly with the Operations Team at SunDog Transportation and Tours. This position will primarily involve driving one of our mini-coaches or vans, or larger motor coaches providing excellent tour commentary, running activities, and of course, ensuring our guests’ safety. Types of tours and transportation can range from scheduled transit bus operation to custom private charter sightseeing.

Key Responsibilities

Being responsible for conducting safe, orderly and fun sightseeing tours
Providing live tour interpretation
Efficiently keeping to a scheduled itinerary
Providing exceptional service to our guests
Performing daily pre and post-trip inspections
Being warm, friendly and welcoming to all guests and team members
Promoting partner attractions and online reviews
Professionally handle guest queries and concerns
Complete all passenger paperwork for entry into attractions
Effective and professional communication over radio/phone
Requirements

A friendly and outgoing personality
Possess a valid Alberta or equivalent Class 4, 2 or 1 Driver’s License with clean driver abstract
Previous experience working in a customer service role
The ability to work well both independently with minimum direction, and as part of a team
A professional attitude and appearance
A strong problem solver with good time management skills
The ability to lift luggage up to 50lbs
Proficiency in the English language, other languages an Asset
