SunDog Tour Co is looking for talented, motivated individuals who want to enjoy an excellent work life balance in Jasper, Alberta. We offer competitive wages, fully-furnished accommodation, and transportation from the airport to assist you with your move. Our work schedule is 4 days on, 3 days off to allow for plenty of time to explore the National Park.

We will be hiring a number of full time and part time roles within the organization. All successful candidates will receive comprehensive training and ongoing support.

Dispatch/ Logistic Coordinator

The Role

Prior to assuming the role of lead dispatcher, individuals will receive comprehensive training on all aspects and components of SunDog Tour Co.

As a dispatcher you will be involved in the coordination of the delivery of our Transportation and Tour services on a daily basis. Working alongside our reservations and operations teams, you will be responsible for helping to manage the execution of all transportation matters within the organization. Managing staff schedules, forecasting passenger volumes and preparing drivers with relevant information prior to their tours will all be a part of this position. A successful dispatcher will have strong leadership qualities and decision-making abilities in a fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Relaying relevant information to drivers and guides on a daily basis
Work closely with Operations and Mechanical teams about availability and application of equipment.
Effective communication via phone, email and text
Requirements

Experience Scheduling and Managing Staff an asset.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills, verbal and written.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Local Knowledge of the Canadian Rocky Mountains an Asset
Valid driver's license
Strong problem solving skills will be required
