Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Counter Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing excellent service while preparing and serving food in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, strong customer service skills, and a good understanding of food safety and sanitation standards. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills in the food industry and contribute to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer menu questions, provide recommendations, and handle special requests or complaints in a friendly manner.
Order Processing: Accurately take customer orders and operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process cash and card payments.
Food & Drink Preparation: Make and serve hot or cold beverages (e.g., coffee, tea, smoothies, ice cream), and assemble, or portion simple food items like pastries and sandwiches.
Cleanliness & Sanitation: Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organized counter, dining area, and workspace. Clear and wipe down tables, and dispose of trash.
Inventory & Stocking: Monitor supplies, replenish condiments, restock display cases, and ensure fridges are stocked.
Core Requirements

Communication Skills: Clear and polite verbal communication.
Basic Math: Ability to count cash and provide accurate change.
Physical Stamina: Capability to stand for long periods and handle a fast-paced environment.
Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with baristas, kitchen staff, and management.
Proserve: preferable.

Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
