Full job description
Overview:

We are seeking a friendly, customer-focused E-bike Rental Attendant to join our team. The attendant will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, assisting them in selecting and renting e-bikes, and ensuring the safety and maintenance of our rental fleet.

Responsibilities:

Greet customers warmly and provide information about available e-bike models and rental procedures.
Assist customers in selecting appropriate bikes based on their needs and skill level.
Provide safety instructions and demonstrations on proper e-bike operation.
Process rental transactions accurately using the POS system.
Monitor and maintain the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the rental bikes.
Perform routine inspections and repairs or report maintenance issues to supervisor.
Manage a solar energy system and ensure batteries are sufficiently charged.
Ensure all rental agreements and waivers are signed and completed correctly.
Educate customers on local routes, bike safety, and riding etiquette.
Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback professionally.
Keep the rental area organized and stocked with necessary supplies.
Additional responsibilities may include tail-guiding and delivering bikes.

Position Requirements

Must have accommodations in Jasper.
Excellent communication and customer service skills in English.
Strong knowledge of e-bikes and e-bike maintenance is a requirement.
Strong cycling skills.
Ability to operate POS systems and handle cash transactions.
Physical ability to assist customers and perform bike inspections.
Friendly, approachable, and responsible attitude.
Prior experience in retail, hospitality, or rental services preferred.
Class 5 drivers license.
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
