Summary
This is a full time role, 5/7 days a week.

The Nursery Coordinator works with the Assistant Snow School Director to smoothly organise the nursery. They are responsible for the care and safety of up to 30 children (aged 19 months to 6 years) with assistance from other Attendants, whilst maintaining good communication with parents. They will assist with scheduling and supervising nursery employees. Working with the Snow School Director and Assistant Director they will ensure that the nursery is staffed in accordance with guidelines and level of business.

Alberta Employment Standards regarding probationary periods apply.

Previous child care/nursery experience
Job Requirements
Minimum 18 years old
Valid First-Aid (preferably Child Care)
Clean and valid Vulnerable Sector check
Must have a valid working Visa (to work with children)
Job Duties

Children\Parents
Ensure reservations are confirmed
Be familiar with each individual child’s needs
Be familiar with all nursery programs to ensure communication and understanding to the parents
Ensure lunch time, quiet time and other needs are fulfilled
Human Resources
Coordinating of the nursery staff
Assist with developing job descriptions, departmental procedures and manuals
Assist with conducting staff reviews
General
Flexibility in days and hours work
May not be full-time at beginning and end of season and other slower periods
Responsible for the process and collection of charges in accordance to company policy
Purchasing and maintaining supplies
Attend weekly departmental meeting (if required )
