We are looking for Line Cooks who:

· Have an interest in cooking and willing to learn

· Are able to work well under pressure

· Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment

· Are organized and efficient

· Have attention to detail

· Are team players with a positive, can-do attitude

· Are dependable and reliable

· Use initiative

· Are willing to work weekends and nights

· Are willing to commit to at least the end of October 2021

· Preferably have at least two years experience working in a busy kitchen

· Preferably have their Food Safe certification (valid in Alberta)

Work Conditions & Physical Capabilities:

· Physically demanding

· Standing for extended periods

· Repetitive tasks

· Heavy lifting up to 23kg

Duties Include:

· Prepare section so everything is fully stocked for service

· Cook meals to order while working efficiently and making sure there is minimal food wastage

· Use creativity to design and cook specials

· Maintain high standards of food presentation at all times

· Help with organizing and managing banquets

· Expediting banquets as needed

· Liaising with Executive Chef in regards to achieving overall high standards of cooking within the kitchen

· Adhering to WHMIS and Food Safe rules at all times

· Keep section clean, tidy and safe

Compensation:

· $16-$20 per hour, depending on experience, with the possibility of advancement

· Daily tip-outs

· Free meal per shift

· Staff discounts on food and beverage in the restaurant

· Full package health benefits after 6 months (available if you work over 24 hours)
