Job Description : Responsible for smooth delivery of meals to dining guests, keeping food quality and consistency in line with business and within the Alberta Food Safety and Becker’s Gourmet Restaurant standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook full course meals and individual dishes with modifications as requested
Maintain quality and speed of output
Prepares each item on menus according to recipes and instruction
Follow proper safety, hygiene and sanitation practices
Communicate clearly with co-workers and leadership team to ensure a smooth food service operation is achieved
Other duties as assigned
Adherence to cost control guidelines
Requirements:

1-3 years of experience in restaurant kitchen is required
Previous experience in high volume fine dining kitchen an asset**
Able to adapt to early morning shift start times
Multi-tasked assignments and work effectively as a team member as well as by themselves
Work well under pressure and challenging situations
Maintaining high standards of productivity and efficiency in the kitchen
Punctual
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use stairs; stools; lift a max. Of 50lbs; able to with stand hot temperatures.
