About the position Duties This position will provide Indigenous consultation and engagement support to the wildfire recovery and reconstruction efforts in Jasper National Park. The position will report to the manager of Jasper infrastructure rebuild and work closely with the Jasper National Park Manager of Indigenous relations and cultural heritage. A key outcome of the position is to develop and strengthen working relationships with Indigenous partners for all recovery and rebuild activities. The successful candidate will provide guidance and advice to the recovery and rebuild teams in planning and executing work and support the team by facilitating Indigenous Partners interests into these programs. Work environment Parks Canada is a federal government agency responsible for the protection and presentation of Canada’s outstanding natural and cultural resources through a system of national parks, national marine conservation areas and national historic sites in all regions of Canada. Intent of the process We intend to hire someone on a temporary basis as a full-time employee to March 31, 2027, with possibility of extension.
