Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Grill Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate has strong experience cooking meats to precise temperatures, possesses basic butchering knowledge, works well in a fast-paced environment, and can perform effectively with minimal supervision.

Job Details
Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare, season, and cook meats and other items to exact temperature specifications.
- Perform basic butchering tasks including trimming and cutting various meat cuts.
- Maintain a clean and organized grill station following health and safety guidelines.
- Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
- Follow recipes, portion controls, and kitchen procedures accurately.
- Work effectively with minimal supervision and within a team environment.
- Assist with prep work and other kitchen duties as needed.

Qualifications:

- Experience as a grill cook or similar role.
- Ability to cook meats to specific temperatures with consistent accuracy.
- Basic butchering knowledge.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Food Handler’s certification is an asset.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a hot environment.
