What will you do in this job?:
Demonstrate a positive attitude and safety-first approach
Preparing and baking a wide range of breads, pastries, other baked goods and desserts, ensuring all product meets quality and presentation expectations prior to being put out on display.
Ensuring that leftover supplies are stored and noted accurately as to freshness and expiry dates and meets Food safe requirements
Managing daily and weekly product inventory for all baked items, ensuring production is in alignment to business demand and all stock rotations being maintained to freshness and expiry standards.
Performing kitchen maintenance tasks in relation to ensuring all baking and other related kitchen equipment is cleaned, stored and areas organized to expected standards and food safe requirements.
During non-baking periods, supporting any prep-work or food production needs
General kitchen tasks as assigned
What skills and experience do you need for this job?:
Previous kitchen experience, preferably with previous baking skills
Mature, professional and calm under pressure
Self -motivated with a passion for quality and cleanliness
Highly detail orientated team player who enjoys working in a busy, fast paced work environment.
Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time in both an indoor and outdoor environment. Be prepared for all weather conditions (Snow, Rain, Wind, Hail)
Must meet the Organization grooming and appearance standards

Busy. You need to be prepared for a physical working environment with walking, stair climbing, bending, reaching, lifting (up to 50 pounds with assistance) required
