What will you do in this job?:
The Starbucks Supervisor under general direction trains and directs frontline staff to perform their duties to Guest Experience standards. Responsibilities include:
Preparation and verification of daily cash reports
Ensuring accurate cash, debit, and credit card transactions
Involved in the placing of and receiving food orders
Coordinate food and beverage inventories
Interacts with customers and maintains the highest level of customer service
Receive payment for all services provided to the customer
Listen to and resolve and customer complaints
Ensure the restaurant area is clean and organized at all times
Relieve Baristas as required
Uphold the high standard of environmental stewardship expected for all employees
Reports all maintenance and repair needs to the Starbucks Manager
Supervises, expedites, and participates in standards of quality, quantity, taste, and presentation
Act as Starbucks Manager in their absence
Reporting and assisting the Starbucks Manager in dealing with performance management of employees
Ensuring Starbucks checklists are up to date and being used properly daily
Using open communicating with other leaders, ensuring you are on the same page directions given to staff are fluid
Keeping up staff moral and having an influential part in in team building and bonding
What skills and experience do you need for this job?:
Must get excited at the idea of living and working in a remote (yet very social) environment
Previous Starbucks experience
Minimum of 2 years Supervisory experience in a high-volume environment
Mature, energetic, dependable, and self-motivated
Natural ability to lead a team
Detail oriented with good communication skills
Strong customer service skills
Some accounting experience an asset and experience with Word and Excel
POS system experience is an asset
Cash handling experience
Handle stress in a professional manner
Enjoy working with a team in a busy, fast-paced environment
Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time
Must meet the Organization’s grooming and appearance standards

Busy. You need to be prepared for a physical working environment with walking, stair climbing, bending, reaching, lifting (up to 50 pounds with assistance) required
