What will be your daily pursuit?:
Ensure that spare parts, inventories and maintenance records are kept accurate and current so that mechanics and servicemen will have the parts, supplies, and information necessary to keep the Columbia Icefield fleet operating.

What will you do in this job?:
Complete administrative duties to ensure smooth operation of the mechanical department
Post data into fleet maintenance system, including purchasing and receiving, and parts allocations
Shipping and receiving, of incoming and outgoing parts and supplies
Checking levels, reordering and restocking parts and supplies for Banff Maintenance and Columbia Icefield inventories, including special order requests
Oversee parts and inventory controls for the Banff Transportation Maintenance department
Lend expertise to Columbia Icefield inventory control operation
Processing documentation for the Banff Compound and Columbia Icefield as required, including Purchase Orders, Accounts Payable, and Payroll
Sets up Banff stock room for inventory storage, coordinating Banff Compound annual inventory, assist with Columbia Icefield annual inventory
Together with other Maintenance management, determine adequate stocking levels for parts inventory
Stock room housekeeping duties
Meet accounting department monthly cut off deadlines
This position may require 30% travel within Banff Jasper geography in the spring/summer/fall

Strong computer and data entry skills
Attention to detail and good communication and listening skills
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
Mechanically inclined
Demonstrated high levels of positive energy and a willingness to take on new challenges
Ability to thrive and in a fast-paced environment
A passion for employee and guest safety
First Aid Training an asset
Physical demands including constant use of hands, repetitive actions, frequent bending/twisting, occasionally working outdoors, and may lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
Class 5 driver’s license with clean abstract
Reports directly to the Fleet & Inventory Manager
Self-motivated and a team player who is looking for the next step in their career
There is a possibility of an apprenticeship opportunity for the successful candidate
