Job Description

Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge is embarking on an exciting transformation as we reposition our iconic mountain resort through a multi-phase renovation cycle. This is a once-in-a-career opportunity to help redefine a world-class destination, blending nature, luxury, and heritage into a reimagined guest experience.

Reporting to the Director of Golf Operations, with a dotted line to the Director of Sales & Marketing, the Golf Group Sales Coordinator to support the seamless execution of golf groups and tournaments. This role is essential in growing revenue on the books, enhancing guest experience, and supporting curated tournaments and group experiences that stimulate incremental demand.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Golf Group Sales & Tournament Coordination

Coordinate all golf-related logistics for contracted group business, including tee-time planning, tee-sheet management, pairings, scoring formats, signage, cart staging, and on-course activations
Act as the primary on-site contact for golf groups and tournaments, ensuring a seamless and luxury-aligned guest experience
Prepare and distribute detailed group resumes and Banquet Event Orders to all hotel departments including Golf Operations, Sales & Catering, Events, Food & Beverage, and Front Office
Support the execution of corporate golf days, golf media tours, incentive programs, charity tournaments, and group experiences
Event Execution & Guest Experience

Coordinate day-of tournament and group logistics including registration flow, scoring support, prize tables, sponsor activations, and VIP handling
Anticipate and resolve operational challenges in real time, escalating appropriately to ensure service recovery and guest satisfaction
Ensure all group and tournament experiences align with Fairmont service standards and luxury brand expectations
Revenue Enablement & Optimization

Identify and support approved upsell opportunities (e.g., food & beverage experiences, corporate branded merchandise sales, lessons, activations) in collaboration with Golf Operations and Food & Beverage
Proactively identify and prospect opportunities for new golf group and tournament revenue that does not include guest rooms, particularly during shoulder seasons (e.g., local corporate golf days, charity tournaments, hosted experiences, leagues), and collaborate with Sales to advance viable opportunities
Provide post-event recaps and operational insights to support repeat business and continuous improvement
Support revenue optimization by ensuring accurate execution of contracted inclusions, minimum spends, and service commitments

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

2–5 years of experience in golf operations, event coordination, or luxury hospitality
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
Proven ability to manage multiple groups and events simultaneously
Confident, professional communication style with internal teams and high-expectation clients
Ability to remain calm and solutions-oriented in a fast-paced, weather-dependent environment
Familiarity with golf operations, tee-sheet management, and event logistics preferred
Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and peak-season schedules
Based in Jasper or open to relocation
Member, in good standing, of PGA of Canada is recommended
Experience with Golf Genius Tournament Software, Lightspeed, Opera Sales & Event Management software is an asset

Additional Information

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
