Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor/MOD to lead our dinner service team during the upcoming summer season. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and restaurant management, wine & cocktail knowledge and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves overseeing daily operations in the restaurant, ensuring high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness are consistently met.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the evening team to ensure efficient service.
Manage cash handling processes, ensuring accuracy in transactions.
Generating end-of-day reports and closing duties.
Assist in the training and development of team members to enhance their skills in customer service and operational procedures.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and presentation of food items.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations.
Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly, providing solutions that enhance guest satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the food service environment.
Help create a positive work atmosphere that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff.
Qualifications

Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, preferably within a restaurant or hotel setting.
Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail.
Experience in team management, demonstrating the ability to lead by example.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Knowledge of kitchen operations and cooking techniques is a plus.
Wine knowledge and food pairing is considered an asset.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
