Keyholder-Job Description

An advanced Budtender with the added responsibility of opening and closing the store.

Additional responsibilities:

Preparing the store for opening by setting up the point of sale stations, stocking the Cannabis product, and ensuring the store is clean, presentable, and ready for customers.
Assisting with and signing off on all duties to ensure everything has been completed properly before end of shift.
Handling any customer issues and complaints that can not be resolved by the Budtender on duty.
Complete product transfers and assist in maintaining accurate inventory.
Ensure all products in store are properly labelled and displayed.
Complete accurate cash outs upon store closing, prepare the deposit.
Organize shift replacements when a colleague phones in sick.

Budtender Duties/Responsibilities Customer Service

Face of RMC. Must always be courteous and professional with emphasis on product knowledge and use of sales techniques.

Handle all customer transactions accurately with correct products rung in and payment correctly processed.

Duties

Proper completion of all daily duties and checklists including identifying any areas that require extra attention as far as cleanliness and organization and completing those tasks.

Keeping all surfaces organized, clean and clutter free throughout the day.

Health and Safety

Regular store walkthroughs to check for hazards, (icy spots outside of store, wet floors, debris in entrance, etc. Taking care of neutralizing health and safety hazard or notifying keyholder/supervisor if assistance is required.

Inventory

Completion of semi-daily cannabis inventory. Regular product stock up throughout the day. Adding any opened boxes from safe to inventory transfer record and alerting Keyholder that there are products in need of transfer.

Assist with month end inventory including accessories inventory.

Weekly Orders

Assist Supervisors and Keyholders in charge of organizing weekly orders with any necessary tasks required to prepare for order delivery.

Assist with processing and putting away newly delivered product (weighing pre-rolls, checking boxes, etc.)

Communicate any missing labels, price discrepancies noticed, etc. to supervisor or keyholder on shift.

Compliance

Keep compliant with all AGLC procedures and requirements including but not limited to asking for customer id, keeping drawers, safe, cupboards locked when not immediately accessing them, keeping display cases locked, etc.

Extras

Asking Keyholders and Supervisors if they need assistance completing tasks.

Other duties assigned by supervisors and management.

Part-time hours: 18-37 per week
