Summary
This is a full time, maternity-leave coverage role, 5/7 days a week. The first 90 working days of employment is a probationary period. This position will report to the Financial Controller.

Core Competencies:
Proven experience and knowledge of General Accounting processes
Adequate skills with computers and systems related to including those related to Accounting and Point-of-Sales
Possess communication and writing skills
Proven time management and organizational skills
Work as a team player within the entire company
Able to work a flexible schedule when require at 3 locations
Will need Driver’s License to work at the 3 locations
Job Duties:
Assist Revenue Audit and Accounts Receivables administrator
Revenues
Sales / General Ledger
Collate printouts & receipts
Review the printouts and receipts for issues (non-compliance, variances, etc.)
Collate, Verify and Reconcile sales reports
Reconcile cash deposits
Data Entry
Post to General Ledger
Vouchers reconciliation.
Accounts Receivables
Provide support to the A/R administrator
Sales / General Ledger
Print, verify and reconcile invoices from sales report
Post adjustment to AR
Receipt process
Process payments
Reconcile
AR Aged Trial Balance
Reconcile to GL
Vendor account reconciliation.
Daily Revenue Report
Collate Data from POS system and wage reports daily
E-mail accurate reports to managers/shareholders and supervisors in a timely manner
Provide coverage on the AR/Revenue Auditor’s days off.
Assist Business Support Administrator
Provide support for Information Systems
Assist with POS and credit card system support
Trouble shoot IT and hardware issues with the service provider
Coverage on the Business Support Administrator’s days off
Monitor the helpdesk emails and action items as applicable.
Assist Payroll and Accounting Administrator
Collate payables for posting
Suppliers updates
Filing
Year end support.
Provide administrative support
Provide support to the Financial Controller
Year end support
Provide marketing reports
System data Management
Answering phones
Completing town runs
Other duties as assigned or required.
Skill and Competencies:
Financial / accounting software – Great Plains
POS/data management software – Siriusware & RTP
Numeracy
Proficient in Microsoft Office including excellent Microsoft Excel skills
Good organizational skills
Problem solving skills
Work to tight deadlines
Able to work with competing priorities in busy periods
Able to work with limited supervision.
