MOUNT ROBSON INN

Jasper National Park, Jasper Alberta

Full-Time- Year-Round Leadership with Altitude

About Us

Mount Robson Inn, we don’t just run a hotel-we host the ultimate mountain life! We’re the first stop after Icefields Parkway and the last cozy warm bed before your Summit push. Time and Time Again-Our guests come for the views, but they stay for the warmth, the stories, and the kind of hospitality that feels like a shared thermos on a snowy trail.

We’re part of the Vantage Hotels family, but we operate with alpine independence. Our culture sets us apart from any other hotel. We are grounded in integrity, excellence, and guest-centric service-but we deliver it with fleece-lined heart and trail-tested grit.

The Role

We’re looking for a General Manager who leads like they ski with Vision, Flow, and respect for the terrain. You’ll guide all departments from housekeeping, maintenance, kitchen to front desk – with a steady hand and a clear mission. Supported by our Director of operations, you’ll:

Craft unforgettable guest experiences that reflect the spirit of the Rockies
Build consistency and excellence across all operations
Set and achieve financial and performance goals with clarity and purpose
Coach and develop leaders who thrive in high-altitude teamwork
Foster a workplace Culture, work with our People & Culture Manager to drive inclusive, diversity and belonging.
About You

The role is all about you! You are “Trailblazer-in-Chief". This isn’t a desk job – it's a Summit mission. As General Manager of Mount Robson Inn, you’re not just overseeing operations; you’re setting the pace, carving the line, and guiding your team through every season. You are the leader, you “Lead by Example”!

You’ll be the heartbeat of the property, leading with clarity, warmth, and a deep respect for the terrain-both literal, historic and human. You are a mountain-minded leader who sees hospitality as a calling and culture as a craft. You thrive in dynamic, iconic terrain, knowing your terrain: balancing operational precision, regulatory landscape of provincial and local hospitality operations. You are familiar with PMS, financial oversight. You know how to read a forecast, fix a furnace, and coach the front desk team with the same calm clarity as a fresh snowfall. You bring vision to the day-to-day, turning guest feedback into rituals, team challenges into growth, and seasonal shifts into strategic wins.

You are the kind of person who high-fives the breakfast cook; you find the time to mentor your leaders over a snowy walk. You believe in guest centric service, but you also believe in staff centric leadership. You listen with intention and know that great hospitality starts with great people. You balance kindness with firmness like a well-set anchor on a windy ridge.

What comes with the climb

Competitive salary with bonus opportunities. Leadership coaching and growth pathways. Personalized mentorship. Wellness & flexibility for those moments the mountains call. A once in a lifetime opportunity to lead a Brand New Hotel!

If This Is You, are you ready for Mountain Kind....

If you are reading this and your heart beats for the Mountains – Welcome home!

This is your chance to shape a workplace where excellence doesn’t need reminders; it settles in like morning mist over the valley. Where feedback flows like a melting, glacier-steady, clear, and nourishing everything it touches. Where trust builds like the rebuild of Mount Robson Inn after the fire- stone by stone through shared effort.

If you’re the kind of leader who finds joy in the climb, shape a team where excellence rises like an alpine sun. The trail starts here, and Mount Robson Inn is ready for you!
