What will be your daily pursuit?:

What will your compensation be?:
The starting salary for this position is $25.00.

What will you do in this job?:
The Maintenance & operations admin assistant role provides for general administrative support for Maligne lake operations and maintenance dept. More specially directly oversees all administrative aspects of our fleet and equipment parts management, work order generation, assignment, tracking and follow up. Has a comprehensive knowledge of use and management of our parts inventory & work order system, ensuring our parts room in maintained and stocked effectively to meet operational needs for the season. Supports in other general administrative duties as assigned including updating and maintaining Purchase order tracking and PO assignment/spend authorizations, obtaining purchase quotes as directed and following up with vendors as required. This is a dynamic role and will include a mixture of the following:
Sound understanding and user abilities of our Parts management/work order software program for work order creation/issuance and parts management.
Ensuring all proper documentation and tracking is completed for all parts inventory needs and fleet repairs completed
Supporting G.M., maintenance & Operations managers administratively in work order tracking, deployment, and completion along with other various administrative needs
Working directly with parts vendors as assigned to obtain quotes and purchase needs.
Oversee purchase order management ensuring tracking is updated and maintained timely for ongoing expense management assessment and clarity.
Performing any daily facilities checks as assigned to denote any repairs requiring immediate attention.
Picking up supplies, taking recycling to town depot
Other duties as assigned
What skills and experience do you need for this job?:
Mature, energetic, dependable and self-motivated
Ability to complete assignments with minimal supervision
Confidence in administrative duties including competent computer skills, use of varying software and spreadsheets- proficient in Microsoft office applications.
Previous experience in parts management and work order assignment systems – an asset.
Class 5 driver’s license (unrestricted), required
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and capable of manual duties which may include working at heights, use of manual and power tools
Organizational and time management skills
High attention to detail
Enjoy working with a team in a busy, fast-paced & more remote environment
