What will be your daily pursuit?:
Our Pursuit Jasper team is diverse collection comprised of 7 superb hotels (Pyramid Lake Lodge, The Crimson, Marmot Lodge, Chateau Jasper, Lobstick Lodge, Forest Park Hotel, Miette Mountain Cabins) and 4 fantasitc restaurants (Aalto, Terra, Hearthstone Lounge, Silverwater). What will your compensation be?:
The starting salary for this position is $19.50 per hour.

What will you do in this job?:
The Food & Beverage Supervisor under general direction trains and directs frontline staff to perform their duties to Guest Experience standards. Responsibilities include:
To act as the Location Manager in the absence of the Manager covering vacation and days off
Preparation and verification of daily cash reports
Ensuring accurate cash, debit, and credit card transactions
Involved in the placing of and receiving food orders
Coordinate food and beverage inventories
Interacts with customers and maintains the highest level of customer service
Receive payment for all services provided to the customer
Listen to and resolve any customer complaints
Ensure the restaurant area is clean and organized at all times
Serve tables, bartend as required
Uphold the high standard of environmental stewardship expected for all employees
Report all maintenance and repair needs to the Location Manager
Report and assist the Location Manager with performance management of employees
Ensure opening and closing checklists are up to date and being used properly daily
Detailed daily communications; to staff via lineups and on the floor discussion, to leadership via shift pass ons, in addition to daily shift reports outlining the shift in detail
Motivate staff and have an influential part in in team building and bonding
Lead GEM and tour functions;
Printing and advance review of BEO’s
Setup and service of all events – ensuring no details are missed and the guest experience is seamless
Completion of GEM and Tour Billing ensuring accuracy and timeliness
What skills and experience do you need for this job?:
Hospitality certification preferred
Minimum three (3) years’ experience in restaurant operations with supervisory experience
Proserve and WHIMIS certification
Excellent knowledge of food & beverage service
Good knowledge of wine, spirits and beer
Excellent communication, interpersonal, guest and public relations skills
Neat and clean in appearance and work habits
Ability to accept and give direction
Ability to motivate train and provide on-going coaching
Be able to work with minimal supervision
Ability to work within a team
Positive attitude
Ability to deal with guest challenges and solve problems as they arise
Able to work all shifts including split shifts
