What will you do in this job?: The Starbucks Assistant Manager under general direction trains and directs frontline staff to perform their duties to Guest Experience standards. Responsibilities include: Ensure the seamless daily operation of the store Exemplify and uphold the Starbucks experience for guests and staff Adhere to the established systems and standard procedures of Starbucks and Pursuit Preparation and verification of daily cash reports Oversee placement and receipt of food orders Interacts with customers, maintaining the highest level of customer service Address and resolve customer complaints Maintain cleanliness and organization in the restaurant area at all times Uphold the high standard of environmental stewardship expected for all employees Reports all maintenance and repair needs to the Starbucks Manager and maintenance team Supervises, expedites, and participates in standards of quality, quantity, taste, and presentation Act as Starbucks Manager in their absence Assist the Starbucks Manager in handling performance management of employees Ensuring Starbucks systems and operations are up to date and being utilized on a daily basis Maintain open communication with other leaders to ensure alignment in providing fluid directions to staff Boost staff morale and play an influential role in team building and bonding Prepare the team for rollout readiness and training Develop schedules and achieve labour and revenue metrics Maintain inventory and waste tracking processes What skills and experience do you need for this job?: Previous Starbucks experience Minimum of 2 years Supervisory experience in a high-volume environment Mature, energetic, dependable, and self-motivated Natural ability to lead a team effectively Detail oriented with strong communication skills Strong customer service skills Some accounting experience an asset Experience with Microsoft Suite is an asset POS system experience is an asset (I.e.
