What will be your daily pursuit?:
The Guest Experience Department principally assists all guests by providing information on Columbia Icefield and Pursuit, services and amenities; by promoting and selling all of our related products and services, and ensuring a seamless experience for guests throughout their adventure. The Guest Experience Supervisor primarily provides direction, leadership, and daily support to the Guest Experience Team, ensuring that staff deliver a positive and memorable guest experience as well as providing solutions to any challenge’s employees and guests face.
Compensation:
The salary for this role will start at $20.50 per hour.

What will you do in this job?:
Coordinating and participating in the daily running of the Guest Experience operation in addition to training, scheduling, recognition and performance management duties – all with best office view you could ask for!
Oversee the daily operations of the Guest Experience team including Agents and Lead Hands including acting as “on the floor” daily leadership. Collaborate with the Transportation team, primarily Dispatch, to ensure operational efficiency and to identify problems and solutions as needed.
Support, train, coach, encourage and ensure that each member of the Guest Experience Team provides an interactive and professional guest experience, aiming above and beyond our guests’ expectations
Ensure a memorable and positive experience for our guests and staff through implementing and delivering the standard operating policies and procedures as they relate to our service, operational, safety and employee engagement standards and practices
Focus on operational excellence, employee training and development, service standards and consistencies. Ensure delivery on key performance areas and relaying feedback and solutions to the Leadership team
Recognizing and identifying, business needs and adjusting frontline strategies
Assist Guest Experience Manager and Director of Attractions with tasks in a timely and detailed manner in a variety of tasks including administration
Uphold the high standard of environmental stewardship expected for all employees
Other duties as assigned
What skills and experience do you need for this job?:
Organization and time management skills are a must, but a passion for making a difference for each guest and employee is the most important aspect of this position!
Must get excited at the idea of living and working in a remote (yet very social) environment
Strong administrative skills and a Class 5 driver’s license (clean abstract) an asset
Previous supervisory, cash reconciliation and cash handling experience, required
Guest service-oriented mindset and a passion for coaching and developing employee skills
Ability to think on the fly and outside the box to solve problems with a positive attitude
Previous experience using RTP POS system, an asset
Second language is an asset
Seeking someone mature, energetic, dependable and self-driven to lead the Guest Experience team
Ability to thrive and lead independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time in both an indoor and outdoor environment.
Be prepare for all season weather (Snow, Rain, Wind, Hail)
Must meet the Organization grooming and appearance standards

Standard First-Aid or higher an asset
