Full job description
Role Overview: The General Labourer supports daily construction site operations by maintaining safety, cleanliness, and organization while assisting the project team with general labour and coordination tasks. This full-time role performs in-between-trade work such as material handling, setup, cleanup, and minor repairs to support overall site progress, working closely with the Site Superintendent and crew to prioritize tasks, manage deliveries, and keep site operations running efficiently.
Key Accountabilities
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe construction site at all times, following all safety policies and procedures.
Perform general labour and support tasks that do not fall under a specific subcontractor, such as moving materials, setting up barriers, or minor touch-up work.
Assist with daily site preparation and cleanup, including sweeping, waste removal, and debris management.
Aid the site team in receiving, unloading, and distributing deliveries and materials.
Support site access control, maintaining clear pathways, signage, and safety zones.
Assist with temporary protection, hoarding, or site logistics setup as directed.
Perform basic maintenance or repairs as needed
Communicate effectively with the Foreman, Site Superintendent, and other team members to ensure tasks are prioritized and completed efficiently.

Able to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions and environments, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 45lbs.
