True Services Inc. located at 87 Disco Road, Toronto, ON, M9W 1M3, is looking for an operations Manager to join our team in Alberta!

True Services is a growing company with a focus on completing both interior and exterior maintenance and repairs, mainly for commercial and institutional projects.

Overview

Responsible for project investigation, preparation, management, reporting and liaising with clients, contractors and manufacturers. You need to be able to manage multiple projects involving various scopes of work. You will work within the region to promote the company’s services and secure new business. Develop a clientele through prospecting and collaborate with internal leaders to generate work. Acknowledge client concerns and respond quickly to resolve problems. Comply with all company operating procedures and policies. Maintain a high level of customer/client satisfaction. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

Job Function:

Perform field data/investigation collection, reviews, and report writing as required.
Assist in hiring and training new field staff on how the company operates.
Oversee field technicians and subtrade contractors.
Co-ordinate with suppliers and manufacturers as required.
Maintain a positive and professional work environment.
Perform technical tasks when required with accuracy according to the scope of work.
Review project drawings and submittals according to the scope of work.
On site measuring and verification of dimensions for drawings as required.
Perform estimating, quoting and job creation using the company platforms provided.
Coordinate internal and external meetings in accordance with the scope of work.
Resolve issues from clients in a timely and satisfactory manner while supporting internal operations.
Perform contract management and contract administration for projects in the region.
Oversee and verify all material and labor costing on projects in order to invoice accordingly.
Identify and pursue prospective clients to develop new opportunities and relationships in the region.
Offer the company’s wide range of services to clients to secure new and repeat business opportunities.
Maintain an updated client list on the company server with current information about the client activities.
Serve as a liaison between company operations personnel and clients as required.
Participate in regional events, trade shows, committees as required.
Support accounts receivable in collections as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience and Education:

Minimum High School Diploma. Completion of a post-secondary diploma or degree is considered and asset.
Minimum of 10+ years of professional level experience with the construction and roofing industries.
Minimum of 5+ years of project management experience in the related industries. Experience in business development, sales, client management is considered and asset.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required.
Additional Abilities, Skills & Tasks:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, industry technical writing is required.
Able to work independently and in a team environment.
Able to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities as required.
Demonstrate good attention to detail and accuracy for all technical assignments.
Able to multi-task and be self-motivating.
Able to demonstrate professionalism and act with business acumen.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point).
Work is performed in both office and outside locations.
The employee is required to stand, sit, climb ladders, bend, lift, talk and drive a motor vehicle.
Working at heights on ladders or mechanical lifts may be required depending on the scope or work.
The employee must be alert, sharp and focused when interacting with clients and internal teams.
Overtime may be required outside of normal business hours on occasion to meet the demands of the position.
The position is regionally focused but out of town or overnight travel may be required depending on the nature of work.
