Full job description
Summary
This is a volunteer position – commitment of 20 work days in exchange for a staff season pass with benefits and season Guest Shuttle pass.

Volunteers are on permanent probation period over the duration of their work commitment.

Parking Ambassadors work as part of the Transportation team. They are responsible for assisting guests as required, primarily in and around the 15-minute drop-off area outside of the Caribou Chalet. They are to ensure traffic flow is maintained in and around the Caribou Chalet and to provide information and assistance to guests as needed.

Core Competencies

Experience in the customer service industry
Capable of working outside, at times in severe weather environment
Ski Industry experience or any training in dealing with general public

Job Duties

Ensure a smooth and orderly flow of traffic coming up to the ski area and leaving the ski area
Ensure vehicles in all areas are parked as efficient as possible
Provide information and direction to guests from a customer service perspective
Identify safety concerns pertaining to staff and guests - work in a safe and efficient manner
Report any vehicle accidents/incidents to the Transportation Supervisor/Assistant Supervisor
Respect and adherence of the company’s policies and procedures as set in the “Employee Handbook” and “Transportation Training Manual”
Understanding and adherence to Ski Marmot Basin ’s “Harassment Policy” and the company’s “Privacy Policy”
