Duties Plans, organizes, schedules, provides coaching/mentoring, and manages performance of up to 20 team members. Delivers visitor service operations to provide park visitors with opportunities to discover, appreciate, learn about and enjoy the place and its natural and/or cultural resources, and understand their significance to Canada. Must be available to start work in Jasper in April 2024 and stay until late September/mid-October. Parks Canada is a federal government agency responsible for the protection and presentation of Canada’s outstanding natural and cultural resources through a system of national parks, national marine conservation areas and national historic sites in all regions of Canada. Intent of the process This process will be used to fill vacancies for the 2024 summer season in the Gates, Campgrounds, and Day Use Areas and Facilities functions in Jasper National Park. In addition to the functions listed above, this process may be used to fill other anticipated vacancies in the Jasper Field Unit under the Visitor Experience function, including park interpretation, visitor use management, information centre and aquatic invasive species prevention.
