What will you do in this job?:
Plan and organize product receiving, distribution, and storage for BJC retail operations
Coordinate resources with location managers to ensure all inventory duties are covered
Communicate with Location Managers, Inventory Manager and Director of Retail on a regular basis
Responsible to coordinate and execute all BJC retail inventory operations
Drive efficiency and execution of the inventory duties
Execute responsibilities with the highest standard of accuracy
Provide feedback and communicate observations to Retail leadership
Participate in operations Health and Safety improvements
Support and enhance all business relationships while adhering to the company’s core values
Participating in year-end physical inventory counts, pre-counts and cycle-counts across BJC Retail
Executing Purchase orders for retail locations
Receiving orders for retail locations
Coordinating and executing product transfers and distribution
Processing inventory transactions in Retail Pro
Coordinating and assisting in execution of inventory storage plans
Following all SOPs and adhering to timeline expectations.
Monitoring security and accuracy to reduce inventory shrinkage
Driving and loading the cube van
Heavy lifting (may be required from time to time)
What skills and experience do you need for this job?:
Previous inventory management experience (2 years minimum)
Previous database experience (2 years minimum)
Proficiency in MS Excel required
Logistics planning an asset
Class 5 driver’s license (less than 5 demerit points)
Self starter and high level of initiative
Strong communication skills
