We seek another Dynamic Insurance Broker to join our team, in one of our 4 offices located in Saskatchewan, Alberta, Northwest Territories or the Yukon . Choose the location most convenient to you.

We are a fast-paced insurance company, seeking a motivated & detail orientated individual to join our team as a full-time Multi-Lines Insurance Broker. Here at Avid Insurance, we pride ourselves on our client dedicated approach, going above and beyond in finding the most suitable insurance solutions for our clients.

Your primary focus will be to provide the highest quality of timely service, while developing and maintaining a book of business.

The duties you carry out will include but no be limited to the following:

Liaising with clients on a regular basis, responding to inquiries and requests in a timely & professional manner
Processing new business and actively engaging prospective clients
Analyze client specific risk exposure and make appropriate coverage recommendations
Negotiate rates and terms with insurance markets
Prepare renewals, re-market applications and endorsements
Data entry to broker management software program
Various administrative procedures
Desired Qualifications:

CAIB Level 1 +
It will be very beneficial if you have experience writing business in the following jurisdictions; AB, YT, NWT & NU
Proven competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently with limited to no supervision
Exceptional English verbal and written communication skills and not reliant on IA
Experience with Power Broker management software a beneficial asset
Salary to commensurate with experience and qualifications.
