Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects, ensuring safety and compliance with all relevant codes. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse electrical installations, including industrial, renovation, and construction sites, utilizing a broad skill set to support our ongoing operations.

Duties

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to accurately install and troubleshoot electrical systems.
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in industrial settings and during renovation projects.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to perform precise electrical work.
Diagnose electrical issues using schematics and technical manuals; perform troubleshooting to identify root causes.
Work with low voltage systems and ensure proper installation according to safety standards and building codes.
Assist in the installation of control panels, automation systems, and other electrical components.
Collaborate with construction teams during new builds or renovations to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical infrastructure.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements

Valid Journeyperson Electrician license or certification.
Proven experience as an industrial electrician or in a similar role involving construction or renovation projects.
Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
Experience working with low voltage systems, PLCs, and power tools.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and handyman skills related to electrical work.
Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments including construction sites or industrial facilities.
Strong commitment to safety standards and regulations related to electrical work. This position is integral to maintaining the integrity of our electrical infrastructure while supporting ongoing projects across multiple sectors. This position is in the town of Jasper Alberta , accommodations and LOA are provided . This is considered a camp job in the town of Jasper .
