Job Overview
The Jasper Art Gallery is the home to visual art created by Jasper and regional artists. The Gallery is visited by thousands of visitors annually, many of whom take home a memory of our beautiful location in the form of a painting, photograph or three dimensional piece of art. Our Gallery Attendant becomes the ambassador for our artists, meeting and greeting visitors and locals alike, and helping them purchase  a piece or two of art, completing the sales transaction and helping our visitors to have happy and satisfying memories of time in Jasper. The Gallery Attendants also learn some of the behind the scenes  activities  that help make the Jasper Art Gallery successful.

A successful candidate  will learn opening and closing procedures,  meet and greet our guests, learn about our artists, sell our artists art work, enter sales on our point of sale system and learn behind the scenes activities such as inventory input and management, participating in promotional and marketing activities, poster distribution and enjoy relationships with members of Jasper's visual art community
