Position: Barista

Wage: $15+ (Based on Experience) + Gratuities

Start: June 1, 2024

Hours: PT / FT

Benefits: Product Discounts, Staff housing for select candidates, Flexible Hours


Description:


A barista is a person who prepares and serves coffee and other hot or cold beverages to customers. A barista's role is to ensure that customers receive high-quality drinks and a friendly service.

Duties and Responsibilities:


Order taking and payment processing
Coffee bean grinding, brewing, and steaming
Coffee drink preparation and serving
Work area and equipment cleaning and sanitizing
Health and safety standards and procedures compliance
Product information and recommendations provision
Customer complaints and feedback handling
Receiving delivery orders

Requirements:


Passion for coffee and customer service
Positive attitude and a team player
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Basic math and computer skills
Willingness to learn new skills and techniques
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items and stand for long periods
Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
