What will be your daily pursuit?:
To support, coach and inspire the food and beverage team in the delivery of an exceptional hospitality culinary experience, fueling our guests and staff for adventure!

This fun summer job starts April 21 and runs until October 18 2024!
Compensation:
The starting salary for this position is dependent on experience.

What will you do in this job?:
Ability to manage day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards
Prepare staff schedules following labour guidelines
Submit payroll and gratuities for team members
Reports to the Maligne Valley Food and Beverage Manager
Ensure effective communication to upper management and team members
Submit daily/weekly ordering of products as per demand, while monitoring inventory and par levels
Build a high functioning and positive team
Create the “WOW” experience for each guest
Understands employee positions well enough to perform duties in employees' absence.
Continuous improvement of guest and employee experiences
Monitors and maintains the productivity level of employees.
Develop consistency within the Food and Beverage offerings, follow and improve standards based on guest needs
Adhere to operational needs and meet financial objectives
Daily inspections on cleanliness and organization of the building
On the spot guest service resolution
Create proper service standards and procedures
Daily reports on promos and guest feedback
Make employee and guest safety a cultural cornerstone to maintain our reputation as an industry leader and guest safety advocate.
Create and nurture a property environment that emphasizes motivation, empowerment, teamwork and passion for providing great service.
What skills and experience do you need for this job?:
1 year of experience in a leadership role
2+ years of experience in the food and beverage industry
Experience building relationships and working on teams across all levels of an organization
Confident to lead a team of 3-5 team members solely
Thrives in a fast paced and high energy work environment
Comprehends budgets, operating statements, and payroll progress report
Performs other duties, as assigned, to meet business needs
Performs hourly job function if necessary
Capable of inspiring teams to drive quality and performance within the organization
Proven track record in maintaining a high level of organization on and off the floor
Effective communicator and able to implement and uphold high service standards
Driven to fostering a team building environment and creating positive guest experiences
An eye for detail and quality
Showing leadership in a positive, calm, consistent and focused manner
