We’re looking for an outgoing Operations Manager for maternity leave coverage to join our fun and upbeat team.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

5+ years in a similar role
Experience or formal training in project management
Valid Drivers License
Previous dispatch experience
Experience in oilfield, pulp & paper and mining
Strong computer skills.
Above-average skills in MS Outlook, MS Word and MS Excel
Strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities
Detail-oriented, with superior organizational skills and the ability to prioritize.
Professional, reliable, and adherent to strict confidentiality of secure materials and information.
General Responsibilities and Duties

Perform planning requirements for the day-to-day operations by coordinating and directing personnel
Coordinating with clients to provide resources needed to execute work
Schedule employees at a variety of locations as needed
Manage/oversee 40+ employees
Assist other key stakeholders in the planning, organization and execution of large turnaround projects
Respond to after hours calls as needed
Maintain COR compliance and requirements
Review project documents, audits and field level hazard assessments
Conduct Field Audits
Maintain safety records, inspections and employee training records
Develop and implement safety policy and procedures in compliance with local, provincial and federal regulations as needed
Assist in the investigation of all incidents to determine the root causes as well as implement corrective actions
Assist other team members as needed
Interviewing, hiring, retention and employee development
Other assigned tasks and responsibilities as required
Job Type: Full-time Fixed Term MATERNITY LEAVE COVERAGE

In this important role, you’ll keep our office running efficiently by supporting team members throughout all levels of the company. We’ll trust you to lead projects independently, and to manage critical, confidential information as you work with legal and financial documents.

Your biggest assets in this role will be your excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude towards new challenges and your ability to build strong relationships with clients, contractors and staff. You’ll quickly become known as someone to come to for support with any task–big or small.

Success in this position will require organization, attention to detail, time management, and a collaborative approach. You’ll enjoy a flexible and dynamic work environment with an engaged team of fellow professionals.

Salary: $65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
