The Role

The role requires working directly with the Operations Team at SunDog Transportation and Tours along with conversing with other Drivers and Guides to ensure all concerns are addressed. This position will primarily involve driving one of our mini-coaches or vans, or larger motor coaches providing excellent tour commentary, running activities, and of course, ensuring our guests’ safety. Essentially, ensuring our guests have the trip of a lifetime.

Key responsibilities

Being responsible for conducting safe, orderly and fun sightseeing tours
Providing live tour narration
Efficiently keeping to a scheduled itinerary
Providing exceptional service to our guests
Performing daily pre and post-trip inspections
Being warm, friendly and welcoming to all guests and team members
Promoting partner attractions and online reviews
Professionally handle guest queries and concerns
Complete all passenger paperwork for entry into attractions
Effective and professional communication over radio/phone
Available to work a full-time schedule over the peak summer touring months
Requirements

You have a friendly + outgoing personality with a guest first focus
You possess a valid Alberta or equivalent Class 4, 2 or 1 Driver’s License with clean driver abstract
You have the flexibility to accommodate a changing schedule, available to work any day of the week, and an average shift length of 10-11 hours per day
You have previous experience working in a customer service role
You have the ability to work well both independently with minimum direction, and as part of a team
You possess a professional attitude and appearance
You have excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills
You possess administrative, problem solving, attention to detail, and time management skills
You have the ability to lift luggage up to 50lbs
You are fluent in English, written and oral. Ability to speak a second language is an asset but not a requirement
You are legally entitled to work in Canada

All guests are to wear a mask while in a vehicle or in a shared space with SunDog employees. sanitisation of surfaces before and after shift.
