Reports to:
The TCP will report to the Traffic Control Supervisor Sarah Reichwald and or Company's Owner/Operator Jim Guinn of Mtn. Rock Stabilization Services Inc.

Job Overview:
Hiring Traffic control person for a job in Jasper National Park, 2nd week of April 2020. New Hire will be required until the completion of the job/contract they were hired for. Possibility of a permanent position within the company after 3 months. Seasonal hires.

The starting wage is $17-$18 hr. Depending on experience, Must be willing to travel.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Some heavy lifting required for the setup and tear down of signage.
Must understand and follow all roadway laws, rules, and regulations.
Must be willing to travel, and long periods of time away from home.
Must be able to follow basic instructions & report to the supervisor.
Must be able to keep accurate vehicle counts when requested.
Must be able to work unsupervised and stand for lengthy periods of time.
Must be able to keep busy and use time efficiently.
Must work Rain or Shine and be prepared for the elements.
Must wear CSA approved footwear and all PPE required by regulation.
Always be prepared for extreme changes in weather & dress appropriately such as Rain Gear and warm clothes.
Must wear hi-viz apparel with appropriate reflective striping that complies with Canada's labor laws as well as provincial rules and regulations.


Qualifications:
TCP Certification (Mandatory).
Must have a flagging ticket that is valid until at least 2021.
Driver's license.
(Driving abstract will be needed if driving a company vehicle).
Experience preferred.
