You will want to work for Dana because we have developed an industry reputation for exceptional cuisine and excellent customer service. We are looking for Wait Staff to join our team in Jasper, AB. This is a pivotal role within our team and the successful candidate will be looking for growth opportunities while being passionate about food and service.
The Position will...
Serve food to the guests and have a thorough knowledge of menu items and ingredients, able to provide suggestions and answer any questions
Be an ambassador of goodwill, ethics, and great customer relations at all times, creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests
Work with other staff to set up for events including setting up tables, arranging food, and restocking as necessary
Maintain a clean and sanitized working environment and assist with the clean-up of catered events
Relay with kitchen staff for special orders or guest dietary restrictions
Handle cash and other payment transactions following all cash handling procedures
Adhere to policies and standards as outlined in the Dana Hospitality Employee Handbook
Adhere to workplace safety and food safety/sanitation regulations
Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs
The competencies and qualifications needed...
High School Diploma or equivalent required
2 or more years of serving experience
Certifications as required to comply with local Health codes
Exceptional customer service skills
Ability to lift (10kg.), pull & push heavy loads & be exposed to extreme temperatures
Strong ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written English
Able to follow directions
Able to work successfully in a fast-paced work environment
Able to work flexible hours dependent on ongoing events
