Job Title: Whistler's Inn Hotel executive housekeeper

Skill Requirements:


Education: Completion of high school


Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not required


Experience: Experience an asset


Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English


Work Setting: Hotel


Size of Lodging Operation (Hotels, motels, resorts etc.): 50 - 100 rooms


Size of Hospital / Health Institution: Not required


Size of Dormitories / Student Residence: Not required


Specific Skills: Establish and implement operational procedures for housekeeping department, Plan and co-ordinate activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews, Co-ordinate inspection of assigned areas, Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met, Prepare budgets and payrolls, Conduct performance evaluations and appraisals, Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment and uniforms, Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff, Ensure that local health and sanitation regulations are carried out


Additional Skills: Hire staff, Supervise staff, Operate computer software programs, Supervise in-house laundry services, Co-ordinate in-house laundry services
