Work Setting: Apartment/condominium complex, Dormitory or residence, Office building, School, Commercial building, Recreational Facility, Resort
Specific Maintenance Activities: Sweep, mop, scrub and wax floors, Empty waste containers, Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings, Clean and disinfect washrooms and fixtures, Perform routine maintenance jobs and repairs, Work with minimal supervision
Office/Administration activities: Perform safety and security checks
Equipment Operated/Used: Industrial vacuum cleaners/power sweepers, Carpet cleaning machines, Polishing machines, Waxing machines, Steam cleaners, Security systems, Upholstery cleaning equipment
Security and Safety: Bondable, Criminal record check
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding, Bending, crouching, kneeling
Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Vehicle supplied by employer, Travel expenses paid by employer, Public transportation is available
Work Location Information: Staff accommodation available, Various locations
Essential Skills: Reading text, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Job task planning and organizing
