Jasper Job Title: Hotel manager 
 Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time 
 Salary: $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 Yearly for 44 hours per week 
 Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible  
 Location: Jasper, Alberta (1 vacancy)  
 Skill Requirements: 
  Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or 
technical training 
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses
, etc.): Certified hotel administrator 
Experience: 3 - 5 years 
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English 
Human Resources Responsibility: 1 - 20 
Budgetary Responsibility: $500,001 - $1,500,000 
Work Setting: Hotel 
Business Equipment and Computer Applications: Computer
 terminal, Computerized reservation system, Windows 
Specific Skills: Develop and implement policies and 
procedures for daily operations, Negotiate with suppliers 
for the provision of materials and supplies, Set work 
schedules, Respond to customer complaints, Prepare 
budgets and monitor revenues and expenses, Develop 
business plans, Prepare marketing plans, Implement 
marketing activities, Enforce policies and procedures 
Additional Skills: Recruit and hire staff, Supervise 
staff, Conduct performance reviews, Manage retail 
operations
