Job Title: Banquet headwaiter/headwaitress (Banquet 
Supervisor)

Salary: $10.50 to $11.50 Hourly for 30 hours per week,

Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school, Some 
college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, 
courses, etc.): Not required
Experience: 3 - 5 years
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write 
English
Business Equipment and Computer Applications: 
Micros
Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Work Setting: Restaurant, Hotel
Food and Beverage Serving Skills: Serve food and 
beverages, general plate service, Serve food and 
beverages, formal or French service, Present bills 
to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or 
debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings, 
Describe menu items including daily specials for 
customers, Advise on menu selections
Wine and Stewarding/Serving Skills: Describe and 
advise on wine selection, Present, open, pour and 
serve wine in appropriate wine glassware
Additional Skills: Customer service oriented, 
Address customers' complaints or concerns, Assist 
customers with special needs, Enforce 
provincial/territorial liquor legislation and 
regulations, Set tables, Replace linen
Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use,
