Skill Requirements:


Education: Completion of high school, Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training


Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Housekeeping room attendant certification


Experience: Experience an asset


Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English


Work Setting: Hotel, Resort


Specific Skills: Sweep, mop and wash floors, Wax and polish floors, Dust furniture, Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, Make beds and change sheets, Distribute clean towels and toiletries, Stock linen closet, Disinfect operating rooms and other areas, Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures, Clean and disinfect elevators, Handle and report lost and found items, Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, Provide basic information on facilities, Pick up debris and empty trash containers, Wash windows, walls and ceilings, Clean changing rooms and showers


Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available


Work Location Information: Staff accommodation available, Urban area
