Job Title: Building handyman/woman
Terms of Employment: Casual, Part Time, On Call, Day, Evening
Salary: $18.00 to $20.00 Hourly for 3 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Jasper, Alberta (1 vacancy)
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not applicable
Experience: 1 - 2 years
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Work Setting: Commercial building
Specific Maintenance Activities: Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on plumbing systems, Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on electrical systems, Repair drywall, Perform routine maintenance jobs and repairs, Work with minimal supervision
Security and Safety: Criminal record check (abstract)
Own Tools/Equipment: Tools
Transportation/Travel Information: Own vehicle, Willing to travel, Valid driver's licence
Essential Skills: Reading text, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing
Other Information: Maintenance company requires a handyman/woman to do repairs/installations. Minor electrical/plumbing, exterior/interior repairs, lock replacement/repair & carpentry skills. Valid driver's license, own vehicle, own tools. Good communication & reliability a must.
